DVD Marathon
Anyways, so I have new DVD's that would get me glued to my computer or TV again for the next four weeks. And would keep me away from shopping, and thinking too much too. Here's a list of what I just got:
MATRIX, a whole box that includes the 3 movies and according to it, 10 monumental discs with some stuff. I don't even know (or care) what the heck they are. I just wanna buy all 3 movies coz i actually just got to watch the first one and they now come in a box that includes these bonus discs, so buy na nga. Whatev. Maybe i'd switch with someone.
The Lord Of The Rings. All Three of Them cost me like $18. Didn't see any of it but since most men really loved them, what the heck, i wanna find out what the fuss is all about. I started to watch the first one, and, sigh, snoozefest.
Everybody Loves Raymond, 1st and 2nd Season. Who doesnt love Raymond. I was looking for King of Queens but nada.
The OC 1st season. Eto ewan ko why i bought. I think I'm just curious . They're on their 4th season, maybe there's something here that would amuse me.
Gilmore Girls 4th and 5th season. The Fourth One coz it has this really nice Pink color (Or was it the Fifth One? I don't know). And the other one just coz it follows the other one or the other way around.
These ones were not on sale but i just wanna buy them. (stupidly enough, no control whatsoever.) Grey's Anatomy Season 2 and Desperate Housewives Season 2.
House and CSI i wanted to buy b-but they're not on sale...so, maybe next time.
And this ones i ordered from Columbia House. When you are a member, you get discounts so they come out like, more or less 8 dollars each.
Wedding Date. I had to have a copy again because i lost my previous copy.
Love Actually. I decided, since i find it soooo romantic, i have to buy the dvd.
LakeHouse and the Break Up. Keanu and Jen. Love them.
Bring It On. I'm a frustrated cheerleader, what can I say.
How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days. Funny.
So yey, I'm soooo happy. I get so excited everytime i get home from work because I know there's always something new to watch. And there's still my tv too. So many shows, so little time. Tell me, how can you even think of being miserable when you have all these movies and tvshows.
Ciao. :)

The Total Agony Of Being In Love
* Just came from work, and I don't know if coz it's Friday the 13th today(obviously, this was written two days ago), or because my nails broke at the beginning of the shift, or I just woke up at the wrong side of my bed, or because I was soooo starving and didn't have time to eat before going to work....i don't know, but work was soooo freakin sucky last night, and I was soooo overly grumpy, that everybody stayed away from me. They said they were seeing smoke coming out of my nose and ears. I was that grumpy. (I just had my period, so don't blame the hormones too. I say, blame it on the rain.)
* I want that Elmo Tickle me toy too! Nakakahawa. :-)
* Enjoying watching LOST lately. Watched Season 1 twice already. Planning to buy season II and III. Pero parang magastos. I'll buy pirated discs na lang when i get home. Harhar.
* Went to a party yesterday (I think I party too much) and I was pretty much drunk again. Am I an alcoholic? Does alcohol really fill the void? I think it does, a little bit. Hafta stop drinking too much. Hangovers suck!
* It was another confusing tvnight tonight. Amazing Race, Desperate Housewives, ColdCase, Brothers and Sisters(i love it!),CSI, 7th Heaven,Americas Next Top Model,RunAway...and then, Jurassic Park, Legally Blonde, Ghost, Sister Act and Jerry Mgguire are on the movie channels. I think I'm missing the good parts coz i change the channel like every commercial break and then get stuck on one and then miss the other one. TiVO! Konti na lang talaga, TiVO! (Thanks to Neo, i watch each and every single TVshow that's out there now.
* Oh, and McVet might be out soon on Grey's Anatomy. Too much drama going on at Seattle Grace lately, like, blech, too much! And Izzy's got like an 8 million dollar money from Denny's dad. And Burke is still trembling. And McSteamy, oh so yummy. He's like Sawyer (LOST), you hate him sometimes but you just love watching his face frown or grin or snarl. Rawr. Oh and Jack's Dr. Shepherd din pala. And that guy Sawyer killed who sells shrimp, was Meredith's dad. Hehe. Konek these two shows.
* I still don't have a ticket for December and a hotel to stay. Darn it. Maybe I'm not going home. Hmp. Anybody knows a travel agent?
* I just cooked sweet and chili shrimp (again), binagoongan, tinolang manok and sinigang. And i'm on a diet. I just hafta cook. I might bring it to Anamie's place. Pye loves tinola and sinigang. This kid loves my house. She loves counting all my stuff toys and playing with my exercise ball. She's soooo adorable.
Will do the TGIF's and the Friends lines trivia....ciao.

Serious Ugly II
*Went to Blockbuster Video while waiting for a cab a week ago and bought like a dozen previously viewed DVD's. I bought this A Date With Drew Documentary. Funny this guy. He was a fan of Drew Barrymore since ET days pa, and he was like 10 then. I will bring it home for Ate V on December. Drew is such a nice person. Very real.
*I also bought Never Ending Story...and these kids can act! Men, they're even waaaay better than some actors in Hollywood. They are sooo cute that I've watched it 10 times already since I bought it. I wonder why I loved it as a kid, and didnt get scared of the big dog. Hee.
*Went to a party a coupla days ago and I've learned that no matter how drunk you are, if you're put on the spot, mawawala lasheng mo. Hee. Alcohol just drained out of my system.
*Anamie's hubby and daughter are arriving later. We're gonna pick them up at JFK , whee! A lil bit sad coz I'll be alone, ALONE again, but good for her, whee! (She's gonna get some. Mwahahaha!)
*Strawberry with Haggen Dazs Vanilla, Yum! And they have a new flavor, Pineapple and Coconut. Mix some(?) vodka and you have a PinaColada smoothie. As in! Soooo yummeee!
*Just slept for almost 24hours. Believe me, I get enough (more than enough) sleep when I want to.
*If Love is enough, I wouldnt be praying to let go. Ang hirap palang manligaw. Hehe. (Zees, email you later!)
*Anybody loved Love Actually(Hugh Grant)?
*If only I don't miss you guys, and I didn't promise Russell that I'd be her bridesmaid on her wedding, I won't be going home this December.
*Trying to order the Friends Calendar but cant. Just wrote to Danilo (or whoever got my message, hehe). Hope they ship to the US. Keep your fingers crossed!
*I am sooo addicted to Bubble Bath. I get rashes all over now if I don't have a bubble bath in one week. Too much work sometimes.
*My cousin's are wondering if I'm still alive. I haven't talked to them since July.
*I have to buy a digicam fast. I want to.
*The LyricsGalore game I can't play anymore coz I just sent the lyrics of mine. Here's some more I added on my playlist...trip lang.
I WANNA GO HOME
Maybe surrounded by so many people
I still feel all alone, Just wanna go home
Oh I miss you
SOMEONE LIKE YOU
Someone like you
To make it all worthwhile
Someone like you
To keep me satisfied
Someone exactly like you
Just like you
SEASONS OF LOVE
Five Hundred Twenty Five Thousand Six Hundred Minutes
How do you measure a year in a life
How about love?
Measure in love. Seasons of Love
MUCH HAS BEEN SAID
I don't know what to do anymore, I'm crying out for help
Much has been said
But I cant complain
I'm livin it easy
Jobs keeping me busy
It's drivin me crazy
ADIA
Adia I'm empty since you left me
trying to find a way to carry on
I search myself and everyone
to see where we went wrong
WHEREEVER YOU WILL GO
If a great wave shall fall
And fall upon us all
Then I hope there's someone out there who
Can Bring me Back to you
STITCHES AND BURNS
I don't wanna see you anymore
Don't wanna be the one to play your game
Not even if you smile the sweetest smile
Not even if you beg me darling please
And Craig Armstrong's Portugese Love Theme and Glasgow Love Theme.
Yun lang. Bow.

Serious Ugly
Anybody watch Project Runway? Love it! Laura (one of the four finalists going to Olympus Fashion Week) uses this phrase a lot. Funny way to say 'ugly' but still sounding sosyal. Hehe. But there really were some serious ugly going on, on that season of Project Runway. (For one, Keith being sent home? Some serious ugly indeed!) ;-)
Anyhows, still can't think of anything to write. Coz unlike Laney who goes to hongkong like going to palengke. (I hafta go to hongkong, soon!!!), and Zees who goes to Boracay and flaunts her skinnyskinny self (I have to lose weight, fast!), and Gramps who gets fascinated with teenytiny gadgets,(have to get that ipod, faster!),and Dino who just had +1 niece (I want one of those!), and Aileen enjoying school with the cute married guys, kikay classmates, and other school stuff (I want to be in college again!), and Ate V who is in love and posts a pic of her NG proudly, (ehem, no comment).....unlike everyall who doesn't write any serious ugly at all....I, on the other hand, still can't find anything un-ugly to write about. Hehe.
If I had my digicam, I'd take pictures na lang din, but then again...i have yet to own one.Nyeh.
So I'm rambling on about anything that comes to mind:
* I ate a box of KrispyKremes a couple of days ago. ONLY half a dozen, not a dozen. Still, too much donuts! Then a big bottle of iced tea after. (You bet I got so hyper, played the guitar for 12hours afterthat. :-)
*Watched(for the first time) Chronicles of Narnia and i sobbed so hard, it's like McDreamy just died. (Over 4 kids and a beaver, seriously?!)
*I have probably 20 books(or more) lined up to be read,( bought them like a year ago) catching up dust in my living room. (And i still find myself bored and have nothing to do most of the time. )
*I've been up for 29 hours. Don't wanna go to sleep coz i might miss the replay of Greys Anatomy at 8.(10 minutes more and it's 8, whee!!!) Why have i been up? Woke up at 1pm yesterday, texted till about 4pm, got ready for work ...worked from 7pm to 8am, went to eat breakfast at Abby's till 10am, talked to zees and sis and anamie till 1200, texted till 3pm, went out to help Anamie buy stuff till 7pmish...now waiting for Grey's Anatomy....After Grey's anatomy, shower then watch Lost Season 1 on DVD till I finally get to zzzZzZ...I have got to sleep and not eat!
*There's a half-italian, half-filipina Miami based chef who's joining Season 2 of Top Chef on bravo. Hope she's good...i think she will do good. Hope she wins.
*I wanna buy an Ipod, only coz I'm tired of hearing about it and i think i just have to have one now. (I don't think I'd have the patience (like Neo) to download, edit,download,edit...over and over, and over...noooo!!!
*If love is enough, i wouldnt have any doubts. If love is enough misery should be over. If love is enough then life could be better, at least for him. Hehe.
*We have this cocktail buckets here where you just have to add water and tequila(for margarita) or vodka(for cosmopolitan or kamikaze) and freeze it tapot becomes one bucket of yummeee cocktail drink na. Aliw!
....And now I lost my ramblings coz Grey's Anatomy just started...Later!

The One With My Playlist
So anyhows, while watching reruns of gilmore girls (jumping to reruns of ER, Project Runway, SpinCity and Becker) and waiting for my pizza delivery to arrive (we love pizza!), and waiting for my laundry to get done...I though of just sharing my musicmatch playlist on my computer.. Like i said, have to drown other thoughts and get busy.
WISH YOU WERE HERE - Pink Floyd - Started to love this song when Marty sang it. (Rockstar INXS)

There's a light at each end of this tunnel you shout cause you're just as far in as you'll ever be out
Cause you can't jump the track
LIVE AND LET DIE-Guns and Roses - Another one of those Rockstar obssession. When I'm getting ready for work...BonJovi, Guns and Roses or Nirvana should be playing or I'll be very grumpy at work. Hee.

CALIFORNIA DREAMING-Mamas and Papas -And then another one. I dont know, but eversince The Blade was playing this on ClassicLite before, melikey.
Stepped into a church I passed along the way

Reaching for something in the distance
FAR AWAY-Nickelback - Swack na swack. Hehe. Straight from the Heart.
I love you
LETTING GO-Kim Sozzi - Light at the end of the tunnel. My thoughts exactly.
So now I say the things I want to say
COLLIDE-Howie Day-Just included it when i read that zees loves it. And it just kinda grew on me.
The dawn is breaking
I WANNA GROW OLD WITH YOU-Adam Sandler- Like, need i say more?
It would be so nice, growing old with you
HOW TO SAVE A LIFE-The Fray-I wonder, as a nurse, have i really saved anybody's life?
Some sort of window to your right
CHASING CARS-Snow Patrol-I'm in love, what can I say. Hehe.
I don't quite know

I know them other guys, they been talking bout the way I do what I do
LIPS OF AN ANGEL-Hinder-Find this song weird. But i keep on wanting to listen to it so there, on my playlist.
Honey why you calling me so late
TOO LITTLE TOO LATE-Jojo-Just one of them songs you hear over and over on the radio and grows on you.
So let me go now
BE WITHOUT YOU-Mary J Blige- My thoughts exactly! But all the answers are yes. Aaargh.
I got a question for ya
WAITING FOR A STAR TO FALL-Boy Meets Girl-This is sooo sweet. Melovey this forever.
Waiting (however long...)
And, like our AbsolutEBC CD, my playlist also has a story behind it, but I intentionally wrote it down in random so you won't notice. Hee.
Laundry's done, pizza's here...and somebody's at the door...Later!

Manhattan DOES have enough shops!
Went to the city yesterday, forced friends to go and celebrate. Hee. (Haberday! Why God, why?!!) We went to get a facial in Chinatown. (That bitch pricked all my pores.) And it's Anamie's first time to go to SOHO. And, man, did we have a shopaholic great time! Most (if not all...at least every shop we went to, except Victoria's Secret) shops were on sale and there's a fair going on in Little Italy. ( Italian Fair or something coz everywhere italian) Lots and lotsa food on the streets from Grand to Spring..or Broadway. (whichever way you wanna go to.) I would have eaten a bucket full of chocolate dipped strawberries if I didn't just eat Filipino food at Woodside, blech.
Anyways, I'm broke, or close to...well, at least i SHOULDN'T shop till next pay day. I'm saving alright, I'm saving clothes and underwears for the rainy days. Hee. Ika nga ni Joey (on the episode where he won't share food but ate all of the girl's chocolate cake), I'm not even sorry! :)

The One With The Delayed Pics..
I'm trying to insert them into my previous posts, but no can do. (Again, these things are all duh?! to me) So here goes, just random pics....
Train ride to the city, on our way to see The Wedding Singer. That's Stephanie on the left and Cherryl on the right. (Stephanie knows a lot of Tagalog words...gunggong, nakakainis ka, bababa ka ba?...and some more curses, hee)
Pigging out at Bubba Gump. I Love Shrimp!!!!
Party at work. We're known for party-ing too much all the time. This was a birthday party for Stephanie, Jinky and Biju. (He's the one in green scrubs, Physician Assistant, like our residents there)
And this was the kiddie party we went to. Theresa is the one on the right.
And this was by the beach...Hay, i wanted to go skinny dipping. They were like teasing me to do it, but when they realized i will actually do it, they stopped. Hee.
***I'm waiting for Grey's Anatomy Season 3 premiere right now. They're showing like a summary of past episodes before the season preem. While on CBS, Survivor is showing - NBC, My Name Is Earl/The Office - FOX, Till Death - CW,Smallville. Meanwhile at 9 besides Greys Anatomy on ABC- CBS, CSI-CW-Supernatural. (Not to mention Queer Eye on Bravo, CSI on Spke, CSI Miami on A&E....endless possibilities) And, this is just Thursday. Why oh why have I not bought a TIVO yet? Masisira ulo ni Neo.

Far From Being Sober....
Current music: Guns and Roses - Patience
Went to work yesterday and when I got home, decided to just kill time and watch (for the nth time!) Grey's Anatomy, season 2 final episode. And for the nth time, i sobbed so hard, had a terrible headache after.
Every scene on that episode makes me cry. From the Adenosine emergency, to Burke,to Doc, to Izzy, to Denny, and to McDreamy and Meredith. I'm not sure if it has been shown in the Philippines yet so I'm not discussing the episode here. I don't wanna spoil it for everyone. But I'm sure, when you get to watch it, you'll agree with me when I say, it really was heartbreaking.
From George " Just coz you can't say something to someone, it means that you don't wanna say it. You want to, so much, you just can't. You can love someone so much, but don't wanna be with them. But sometimes you just wanna be with someone, even if you don't love them. It's so hard when your brain tells you what you want, but you know that what you really want is totally different. It's exhausting. " 'Nuff said.
Anyways, after watching Grey's Anatomy, with not a minute of zzzz, i have to get up to get ready for a kiddie party for my coworkers kid. Nirla's kid Ernie turned 2. He's soooo adorable! (I want one of those!hee.) We had a lot of fun, with the clown and Barney...yes, Barney was there too! (I'd post pictures but i didn't get to download it yet in my computer. Next time..or maybe later)
Afterwards, since it's a kiddie party, no booze, we headed to the beach to just lay in the sand, drink like a bottle or two before headin home. (Ended up drinking 4 smirnoff coolers) Got my co-workers (young and old) to drink, and it was fun seeing them getting tipsy on just one bottle. Hee. (Bad influence talaga.)
Then after that, like around 7 pm, got home and found out there's a barbecue going on in one of my friend's house. Shamelessly, i went without being invited (it's the alcohol)and continued drinking. Now accompanied with singing and dancing. (Much to the delight of my audience) Maybe it's because i ate a lot or maybe coz i had no sleep, that even when i finished like a 6 pack, i never felt drunk soo i kept on drinking. (hic) When everybody went home at around 1 am, except the boys (they're all married, if not, they're good boys so i feel very safe around them even when i get really, really drunk) and of course my cra-zee drunken twin Cherryl, i decided to play the guitar and sing at the top of my lungs, eraserhead and bon jovi songs...while eating all, as in all the left overs from the barbecue.
Finally decided to go home at around three (after drinking one bottle bottoms up, in 5 seconds), and right now I'm still up, watching Thorn Birds. Don't have any idea why I can't sleep, but still up and about, and ready to go somewhere if somebody calls me. Is it the smirnoff, is it the barbecue, is it Thorn Birds or is it the feeling of sadness for someone that's keeping me up. (I'm not in a bluer than blue mood but sometimes you just feel a little bit down yourself when your loved ones are feeling really blue.Sympathy blues.)
So there, this is my typical drunken day in NY. How's yours? ;-)
"There are a lot of mediocre things in life that we have to deal with, LOVE shouldn't be one of them" ...Dream For An Insomniac (didn't really like the movie, but loved this)

Hmmm, I don't get embarassed too easily. Emabarassing moments are funny to me. Don't care. Maybe when one of the schupid indian doctors here yelled at me in front of my coworkers when i was new, but it didn't affect me that much too. Ewan.

Holding a grudge towards my dad

5. What do you pray for or about most often?
Good health for my family and friends....
It's 7:25 am and i'm still not sleeping. My body is sooo tired but why oh why can't i snooze? I feel sooo sleepy but can't....what am I doing wrong?!!! *yawn*
The One With The Wedding Singer
Ticket sales aren’t what they ought to be (meaning that you can get in without difficulty), we got ours for like $56 + tax and we were like at the far end, no, we were at the last row seats at the very end of the theater. But the upper promenade was like half empty so just before the show started, they gave the $100 seats to us. Whee! Actually, it was a small theatre (just slightly bigger than the Music Museum in greenhills where I saw They're Playing Our Song), so it wouldnt be that bad if we stayed at the back.
I never watched American Idol religiously, but I've seen him and watched him sing a coupla times, and I liked him. Surprise, surprise!... it was his second day performing as Sammy, which stupidly enough, we never knew until after the show, when we were eating Pizza at Papa Johns and reading Playbill. Aaaargh! (This is why you always, ALWAYS, have to browse at your Playbill while waiting for the show to start just so you have an idea about the cast, storyline, and acts.) I was actually telling them, 'hala, that guy who played Sammy looks like Jimmy Fallon, parang artista, hindi pangbroadway,' sure enough, he IS Constantine! Galeng galeng, as in! He was sooo funny and can sing and act and dance and make us fall in love with him even with his flock of seagulls hairdo. (ala Chandler, just longer at the back), and his stupidity. Yup, he is the stupid guy there too. Can you imagine? Constantine? I was like so excited when I browsed at my Playbill and found out it was him, the other tables were actually glancing, probably wondering what the hell am I so excited about. Hee.
There was this one song by Sammy and Holie in the show that I love so much, Right In Front Of You...I think this part is the best act of Constantine. It's a song about getting caught into so many different things and people, but the one person that's meant to be for you is just right in front of you. Isn't that sweet? (sigh) There were two teenagers in front of us who were screaming so loud everytime Sammy comes out, and i overheard it was their 3rd night to watch. We thought it was odd, but then when we found out who Sammy was, well, can't blame the kids. hehe.
And, another fun part of the show was the last part. In the movie. the Growing Old song was played in the plane, right? In the musical, Glen and Julia actually went to Vegas , and Robie went to every chapel there to look for them. And along the way, he's gonna be joined by some people on drag doing celebrities like Mr. T (with a sign that says I pity the fool, hee)...Tina Turner, Cindy Lauper, Ronald Reagan...and whoelse is with them?...Imelda Marcos holding a shoe box in a very beautiful Baro't Saya. Isn't that kewl?! As in! (We were like standing up and cheering everytime she has a line, haha. ) And when they find them in a chapel, the drag queens were supposed to be witnesses for the wedding, and then enters Robie singing Growing Old, while Glen was kicked in the crotch by Tina Turner. This scene is very funnee...and soooo romantic.
Whew. The day was a little tiring (coz we had to kill time and walk around from 2 pm till 8 pm, that's when the show starts) but it was all worth it. With The Wedding Singer, being able to give a fun birthday to our friends, a little shopping (finally found a perfect gift, whee!) , and the shrimps (Bubba Gump!) and never ending pizzas we ate....it was indeed a Day Of Fun!
And to end my 18 pages front and back, here's The Song For The One.....
Surreal...

Farewell to Andre...USOpen 2006
Agassi rose and moved to the center of the court for a second round of bows and kisses to the four sides of the arena, gingerly bending his back.
"I was sitting there realizing that I was saying goodbye to everybody out there, and they were saying goodbye to me," the 36-year-old Agassi said. "It's saying goodbye. It's a necessary evil. But we were getting through it together. That felt amazing."
On A Lighter Note.....It's a dream come true going to the Open...whee! ( And zees, here's more blahblahblahblahblah...sowee. hee)
Hind na makatiis, bungad pa lang, nagpapicture na sa poster ni Andre. Hee. Mabuhay ang mga jologs! Can you tell I'm soo happee?!
And looks like, Andre was running away from me...doesn't matter...i love him!
Was with Cheryl, Dennis and Roy. You can't ask for a better company to the Open than these three. Esp. the two boys, soooo into tennis. Tulo laway all throughout Maria Sharapova's game. She's sooo pretty by the way.
And of course, gotta have a picture with the globe and the fountain.
At the Grandstand, Robredo playing....twas a good game. (Just don't click on the pic, na mamagnify pimples ko. hehe)
Henin-Hardenne playing...blah game, not Justine's match, boring. Armstrong stadium is kewl though.
